Field Fusion Technician - HDPE or PVC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5 years of construction experience, ideally with some Fusible PVC or HDPE experience
• Experience with the construction process and methods for pipeline installation, preferred
• Effectively correspond and verbally communicate in a professional manner with general and drilling contractors and co-workers
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license, clear driving record, and able to obtain a DOT medical card with DOT physical
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision from a remote home office
• Able to travel up to 75% of the time within territory of Fort Collins to Colorado Springs, Colorado for 1 to 2 weeks at a time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for fusing our patented Fusible PVC® pipe by means of a thermal butt fusion technology
• Providing on-site assistance to installation contractors in a fast-paced, small company atmosphere
• Representing our company on the job site and must be able to conduct themselves professionally
• Training and assisting customers with various fusion joining and field installation processes
• Performing maintenance of fusion machines
• Working outdoors and on-site to exacting QA/QC specifications and documentation requirements
