Field Forklift Technician

As a Field Forklift Technician, you will perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers, and golf carts. You must have your own tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain industrial mobile equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis, warranty research, rework, and repetitive repairs using historical equipment data via the Field Connect service platform.
  • Complete all repairs in a timely manner following manufacturer repair guidelines.
  • Exercise judgment and decision-making to choose the most appropriate course of action based on costs and benefits.
  • Perform equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in the Field Connect service platform.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates via phone, email, or in person.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per Concentric time standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in the Paylocity timekeeping platform.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements by customer and Concentric; maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Complete safety training modules in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with MHE maintenance (electrical & LP lift truck repair) required.
  • Strong equipment repair, mechanical, and/or electrical skills.
  • Hydraulics and conveyor experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and attendance with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills for work order documentation and customer interaction.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with using a computer.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, crouch, and work in confined areas.
  • Must meet the physical requirements of a Service Technician.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work occasional overtime.
