Field Finance Manager

As the Field Finance Manager, you will produce complex and high-impact business and financial analyses to support decision-making, increase sales productivity, and execute planning, budgeting, forecasting, and sales performance assessment processes for the US commercial organization. You will review sales data, provide management with performance assessments, trend analyses, and success metrics, and create proposals to improve sales efficiency, revenue generation, and profitability. You will prepare budgets and forecasts, identify cost-efficient business practices, and monitor performance within your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Review sales objectives, analyze data, understand the sales process and business model, and develop solutions in areas such as territory alignment, sales rep efficiency, expense management, and manpower planning.
- Review revenue data by geography, account, product, and rep; evaluate performance, highlight key issues, and recommend areas for improvement to sales management. Collaborate with other sales functions, finance, and marketing to develop business solutions.
- Interpret operating results and their impact on the company’s financial posture; make specific recommendations to reduce costs and improve profits.
- Lead and execute financial processes for the geography, including:
- Annual Business Plan development (Revenue Plan by Product, Region, and Area; Personnel Plan; Overhead Expense Plan).
- Quarterly Forecasts and Outlooks.
- Provide departmental manpower targets and negotiate budgets; monitor and approve manpower and capital expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Analyze and report on financial impacts of special events, actions, and requirements.
- Assist in preparing strategic plans and analyses for future business alternatives.
- Compile, analyze, and present financial and sales competitive intelligence.
- Support Company initiatives, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with FDA regulations, Company policies, and maintain positive communications with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, plus at least 6+ years of progressively responsible financial or budgeting experience.
- Experience in sales metrics analysis, financial planning, financial analysis, and working with corporate senior management and business accounting.
- Proven ability to deliver financial information that adds value to management’s decision-making process.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other frequently used applications.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to travel approximately 30%, including internationally.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced credential, such as an MBA, CPA, CMA, or CPIM designation or equivalent.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise or cross-division business unit model.

Pay
The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
