Field Engineering Apprentice

About the role

The Field Engineering Apprentice is an entry-level, hands-on position designed to build real-world IT skills through on-site work alongside experienced engineers. You will spend your days at client locations across the Louisville area — installing infrastructure, setting up equipment, pulling cable, and learning what it actually takes to keep businesses running. No prior IT work experience required. We are looking for someone motivated, reliable, and ready to learn. We will teach you the rest.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware and software infrastructure
• Set up and test network equipment
• Pull cable and manage cabling projects
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
• Learn and apply best practices in IT operations
