As a Field Engineer Intern at our California Buildings district, within our US Buildings sector, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assists Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents
• Conducts safety audits and quality audits
• Reads and understand drawings and specifications
• Logs submittals, process RFI’s and prepare reports
• Maintains and update field drawings, field equipment and records
• Aids in surveying and project layout
• Aids with coordinating subcontractors, vendors and field staff
• Covers material deliveries and documentation
• Attends relevant project meetings
• Prepares memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents
• Aids with project documentation requirements
• Aids with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, etc.
• A desire to pursue a career as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Estimator
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver’s License
• Willing to work and live in the Southern California area
• Willing to temporarily relocate to project locations
• Must be able to navigate through a construction site on a daily basis, climb ladders and stairs
• Must be able to work around and near heavy equipment, cranes, and other construction equipment

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $22.00, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
