Field Engineer I - Production Automation

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the deployment, operation, testing, and maintenance of Weatherford tools and equipment.
• Support field service jobs at customer locations and well sites.
• Conduct equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
• Collect operational data and prepare accurate field reports.
• Assist in job planning, mobilization, rig-up, rig-down, and equipment preparation.
• Maintain equipment performance and communicate operational issues to supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• An engineering degree in a related area of study (Petroleum, mechanical, etc).
• 0 - 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Solid understanding of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership when required.
• Physically capable of performing the duties of the role.
• Proficient in computer applications and data analysis.
• Industry-recognized certifications in relevant fields are an advantage.
