Field Engineer I - Production Automation
Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the deployment, operation, testing, and maintenance of Weatherford tools and equipment.
- Support field service jobs at customer locations and well sites.
- Conduct equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
- Collect operational data and prepare accurate field reports.
- Assist in job planning, mobilization, rig-up, rig-down, and equipment preparation.
- Maintain equipment performance and communicate operational issues to supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- An engineering degree in a related area of study (Petroleum, mechanical, etc).
- 0 - 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Solid understanding of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership when required.
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the role.
- Proficient in computer applications and data analysis.
- Industry-recognized certifications in relevant fields are an advantage.
