Field Engineer, DEWALT Anchors & Fasteners - New York

About the role

As a Field Sales Engineer, you'll join our Tools and Outdoor team working remotely. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a strong technical understanding of specified fastening products.
• Establishing relationships with key specifying engineering firms.
• Influencing designers, architects, and engineers to specify fasteners through regular visits and technical communication.
• Holding regular technical presentations and training seminars for design professionals.
• Supporting local sales efforts from a technical level, including jobsite visits.
• Ensuring submittals generated by contractors are approved by architects and engineers.
• Embracing and becoming versed in construction technology and future trends.
• Developing and maintaining client records in CRM tools.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Develop a strong technical understanding of specified fastening products.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in design engineering, technical support, or technical sales role.
• E.I.T / FE certified; Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred.
• Construction Industry / Jobsite experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $62,200.00 - $100,200.00. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and in compliance with local wage requirements.

Schedule

This is a remote position with up to 60% travel required.
