Field Engineer
About the role
The Field Engineer is an entry level position reporting to the Superintendent with indirect reporting to the Project Manager. This position assists the project team in completing a designated project, focusing on field and office operations and their impact on project construction.
Responsibilities
- Shop drawing coordination
- Office/field support staff
- Estimating and quantity take-off
- Purchase necessary materials to complete assigned tasks
- Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site
- Schedule monitoring and updating
- Monitor assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and subcontractor manpower
- Prepare billings and review invoices
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
Requirements
- Verification of employment to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
- 4-year college degree required, preferably in construction related field
- Ability to assume responsibility and interface with various stakeholders
Skills
- Strong organizational skills

- Effective communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
