About the role
You are here to do the work that needs doing, learn from the people doing it at the highest level, and earn your way into more responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Follow and support whoever is leading the current phase of the build.
- Work under the Framing carpenter during structure, under the Systems Builder during rough-in, under the Finish carpenter during interiors, and under the Foreman throughout.
- Support the crew by making every phase leader's work easier.
- Understand how each phase sets up the next and develop a sense for which phase speaks to you most.
- Take feedback well and act on it immediately.
- Develop a sense for what right looks like and make small things well.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of site exposure — residential preferred, but physical capability and willingness are more important.
- Take pride in doing small things well.
- Be here because you want to become a great builder, not just a job.
Qualifications
- Physically capable and willing to work in demanding conditions.
- Ready to learn from four different builders in a single project.
