Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field ride-outs to validate OSP designs against actual field conditions, identifying discrepancies, conflicts, and constructability issues prior to and during construction.
- Perform pre-construction design reviews and physical walkouts to confirm design accuracy and permit compliance before construction crews mobilize.
- Execute minor design modifications using AutoCAD and GIS platforms to reflect field conditions and resolve constructability conflicts in a timely manner.
- Document field findings, produce accurate redlines, and communicate discrepancies to engineering and construction management teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable 811/One Call dig law requirements, NESC aerial construction standards, and Clark County, City of Henderson, and NDOT ROW requirements.
- Interface with local jurisdictions, utility companies, and permitting authorities as needed to support active construction.
- Cookordinate with construction management teams to resolve field engineering issues and support on-time project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of field findings, design changes, and outstanding resolution items.
- Support QA/QC functions by verifying as-built conditions against design documentation.
- Analyze field data and contribute to continuous improvement of design and construction processes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in OSP field engineering or construction management with a specific focus on fiber optic outside plant infrastructure; mid-to-deep OSP construction management background will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of 811/One Call dig law compliance requirements and NESC aerial construction standards.
- Familiarity with Clark County, City of Henderson, and NDOT ROW permitting processes, inspection expectations, and authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD for field design modifications and redline documentation; experience with 3GIS and/or Esri/ArcGIS platforms strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and independent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound field engineering decisions without direct supervision.
- Computer proficiency and experience with Google Suite tools to create, manage, and communicate field reports and data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical findings to both engineering and field construction audiences.
Work Environment
- This hybrid requires work in the field and in the office.
- Field work includes walking sites, climbing stairs, and engaging directly with teams and clients.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance required.

- The Pay Range For This Role Is 33 - 38 USD per hour (PRG Las Vegas, NV).
