Field Coordinator

About the role

Hazen and Sawyer has an exceptional opportunity for a Field Coordinator/Senior Field Coordinator to support the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Observe and manage contractor’s work to ensure compliance with Contract Drawings and Specifications
• Facilitate coordination and communication between Owner and Contractor to ensure construction activities do not impact Owner operations
• Assist with construction administration documentation: RFI’s, RFC’s, field orders, claims, submittal/schedule review, meetings, payment applications, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of water / wastewater treatment facility construction experience
• Professional Engineer License in Ohio
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in construction administration and observation
• Water or wastewater facility construction experience in lieu of the aforementioned degree will be given equal consideration
