Field Content Technician - Commercial Maintenance & Construction

About the Role

This is a hybrid field and content position. You will work with our commercial maintenance and construction crews while capturing the work in a way that helps M5 recruit, sell, and show proof of what we do.

Field Work Responsibilities

• Punch-list support
• Jobsite protection
• Material handling
• Light maintenance
• Clean-up
• Before-and-after documentation
• Helping technicians keep jobs moving

Content Work Responsibilities

• Shooting photos and short videos
• Capturing progress and finished work
• Basic editing for Instagram, LinkedIn, the M5 website, recruiting, and project updates

Requirements

• Hands-on commercial maintenance, construction, porter tech, or field support experience
• Comfortable on active commercial properties
• Able to take clear photos and videos and edit simple short-form clips
• Reliable, organized, and able to switch between helping on the job and documenting the job
• Valid California driver's license

Nice to Have

• Experience with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Canva, CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools
• Basic writing for captions
• Trade experience in maintenance, doors and hardware, paint, drywall, flooring, or construction cleanup
