Fiber Tower Operator 1
About the role
The Fiber Tower Operator 1 is responsible for setting up and operating manufacturing machines to assemble and process products, covering the full machine lifecycle from setup through long production runs. The role works under direct supervision and ensures products are manufactured safely, accurately, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines, tools, and equipment, performing standard and complex production tasks in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records, ensuring proper documentation and traceability for manufacturing performance analysis.
- Conduct testing, record production data, and ensure quality specifications and tolerances are consistently met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety, environmental, and security practices, including lockout and shutdown procedures.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience operating complex manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, screw machines, or similar automated production machinery.
- Skills including machine setup and operation, quality monitoring, precision machining, digital recordkeeping, and adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety standards.
- A High School Diploma or Vocational Training, or an equivalent level of education.
- A reliable, detail-oriented team player who is comfortable working shift-based schedules, including extended and rotating shifts, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Pay
The pay range for this position in Colorado Springs, CO is $16.37 to $26.
Schedule
Training period (4–6 months) will take place over any of the three shifts run out the facility. Eventually this role will work a 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 operations.
