Fiber Testing Technician
We are seeking Cable Technicians to support fiber validation, auditing, and troubleshooting activities.
Responsibilities
- Fiber validation, auditing, and troubleshooting
- Layer 1 testing and cable installation (Cat6, Cat5)
- Splicing and cable installation
Requirements
- Experience with OTDR, fiber testing, and validation
- Troubleshooting skills
- Intermediate experience level
Schedule
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role includes a rotating on-call schedule. During site turn-ups, the schedule shifts to 10-hour days, 6 days per week.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
