Responsibilities
- Prepare, terminate, polish and test fiber cable assemblies according to customer specifications.
- Prepare different types of cables: armored and non-armored cables, outside plant cables, loose tube, tight buffer micro distribution and others per customer’s request.
- Polish and test a variety of fiber connectors: LC, LC/APC, SC/SCAPC, ST, MTP/MPO, MTRJ, F.
- Able to read and understand customer’s technical drawings.
- Read, interpret, and follow detailed written work orders.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years related assembling experience in manufacturing
- Hands on experience in assembly of electro -mechanical products, preferably connector or cable assemblies
