Position requires the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
Responsibilities
- Build cable and harness assemblies according to wiring diagrams.
- Construct form boards and perform soldering, crimping, and plugging contacts into connectors.
- Torque backshells while adhering to Class 3 IPC standards.
- Follow written instructions from mechanical engineering and interpret drawing schematics.
- Perform a variety of tasks, including repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies (e.g., modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables).
- Work from diagrams and drawings to create initial layouts using hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
- Perform quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of manufacturing assembly experience (defense industry preferred).
- Completed WHMA-A-620 training or a current WHMA-A-620 Certification with demonstrated Class 3 workmanship.
- J-STD-001 Certification.
- Previous experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620E-S space addendum (preferred).
- IPC 620 Defect Recognition proficiency.
