Duties

• Supervising and managing staff within the Mitigation Division, Environmental and Historic Branch
• Overseeing and completing Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grant program environmental compliance reviews
• Providing environmental planning and historic preservation policy and project compliance support and technical assistance to FEMA’s programs and operations as well as State, Tribal, and local governments
• Collaborating with FEMA headquarters program staff, regional staff, and field staff
• Managing highly complex projects with short and long-term objectives
• Facilitating often unprecedented resolutions with multiple stakeholders
• Reviewing, drafting, and finalizing agreement documents, standard operating procedures, policy, guidance, resources, or tools – especially those related to streamlining environmental and historic preservation (EHP) compliance reviews and process improvements across non-disaster related programs
