Responsible for the operational and financial management of the accredited/non-accredited fellowship training program, under direction from the Program Director. Assists with the organization of the fellowship program director's time and maintains accurate schedules. Requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Assesses and directs a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations. We need to extract sections: - About the role: maybe a summary of role? The posting includes description of responsibilities etc. Could put "About the role" as a short paragraph summarizing the role: "Responsible for the operational and financial management of the accredited/non-accredited fellowship training program, under direction from the Program Director. Assists with the organization of the fellowship program director's time and maintains accurate schedules. Requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Assesses and directs a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations." But that is also repeated later. We need to preserve all substantive info, not duplicate? The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." So we need to include all info, but we can organize into sections without duplication? Might be okay to have some repetition if it's in different sections? Probably better to avoid duplication but still preserve all info. Could split into sections: About the role (general description), Responsibilities (list of duties), Requirements (education/experience), Qualifications (maybe licensure?), Skills (skills/qualifications), Benefits (benefits description), Pay (pay range), Schedule (schedule details). Also maybe Work Environment etc could go under Requirements? But we have specific headings list; we should only use those headings if content exists. Let's extract: Schedule Details/Additional Information: M-F 8-5 with occasional Saturday during interviews (September -October). Also Hours Per Week 40. So schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week, M-F 8-5 with occasional Saturday during interviews (Sept-Oct). Benefits Eligible Yes. Pay Range: $25.30 - $37.95. Responsibilities: The list under "Essential Functions" and earlier description. Let's list bullet points: - Coordinates fellowship programs. - Maintains and monitors ACGME Accreditation and GME requirements. - Maintains the ERAS database (Electronic Residency Application System) and oversees its processes during recruitment season. - Maintains application chart for fellowships. - Responsible for final phase of fellow selection process by preparing rank list with direct submission to the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for fellowships. - Assembles new fellow training files, coordinates new fellow GME personnel forms, and assists with financial duties such as tracking accounts, producing financial reports, and providing budget preparation support. - Schedules and arranges activities to ensure availability and makes complex travel arrangements when necessary. - Creates and maintains accurate files. - Facilitates departmental work by providing specialized administrative support to faculty and departmental communication. - Assists with departmental processes and programs by following established work procedures. - Performs other related duties as assigned. - Maintains cooperative working relationships and an open line of communication with other departments and members of the Medical Center. - Resolves problems to improve customer service. Also earlier: "Responsible for the operational and financial management of the accredited/non-accredited fellowship training program, under direction from the Program Director. Assists with the organization of the fellowship program director's time and maintains accurate schedules. Requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Assesses and directs a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations." These could be part of About the role or Responsibilities. We'll keep them in About the role maybe. Education/Experience: Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field with two years' experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A (we can omit as not substantive? It says N/A, we should not create a section for it if it's N/A. So we skip. Skills/Qualifications: Excellent oral, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel; Detail oriented. Work Environment: Clean, well-lit, comfortable, office environment. Physical Requirements: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Bending, Reaching with arms, Finger and hand dexterity, Talking, Hearing, Seeing, Lifting, carrying, pushing and or pulling: 20 lbs. maximum, 50 lbs. maximum, 100 lbs. maximum. But we don't have headings for Work Environment or Physical Requirements; only allowed headings are About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we need to map these into those categories. We could put Work Environment and Physical Requirements under Requirements or Qualifications? Probably Requirements includes education/experience, licensure, etc. Qualifications could include skills, etc. But we already have Skills heading. The instructions say use those headings for sections. We can decide to put: - About the role: general description. - Responsibilities: list of duties. - Requirements: education/experience (Associate's degree...). - Qualifications: maybe licensure? but it's N/A, skip. Could also include "Detail oriented" etc? But we have Skills heading for skills. - Skills: communication, MS Office, detail oriented. - Benefits: description of benefits (from Our CommitmenttoYou). - Pay: pay range. - Schedule: schedule details. We also have Work Environment and Physical Requirements; maybe we can include them under Requirements as additional requirements? Or under Qualifications? The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we could combine Work Environment and Physical Requirements into Requirements or Qualifications. But we need to preserve all substantive info; we can include them as a list under Requirements (maybe as sub-bullets). That seems acceptable. Thus:
