Job Summary

Bayside Health is seeking a part-time Stereo-EEG Clinical Research Fellow for 12 months starting in 2027. The position requires at least two years as an advanced neurology training registrar (or international equivalent) and completion of a general epilepsy fellowship by the start of the fellowship. Co-enrollment in a PhD or Masters with Monash University Department of Neurosciences is encouraged.

About the Role

The Stereo-EEG Clinical Research Fellow will contribute to research projects focusing on epilepsy and related neurological conditions. This role involves working closely with clinical teams to collect and analyze data, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research studies involving electroencephalography (EEG) and other neurological assessments
  • Collaborating with clinical teams to ensure accurate and ethical data collection
  • Analyzing EEG data and contributing to the interpretation of results
  • Writing research papers and presenting findings at conferences

Requirements

  • Completed at least two years as an advanced neurology training registrar (or international equivalent)
  • Completion of a general epilepsy fellowship by the start of the fellowship
  • Co-enrollment in a PhD or Masters program with Monash University Department of Neurosciences

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in neuroscience or related field
  • Experience in EEG and related neurological assessments
  • Strong analytical and research skills
