Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs basic and advanced EEG testing and LTM, Evoked Potential testing, performs all related paperwork, assists in budgeting and cost control, and is responsible for training neurodiagnostic personnel. Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of test preparation for physician interpretations, billing process, troubleshooting equipment problems, keeping equipment and rooms in excellent working order, taking call for all neurological testing, and documenting training of neurodiagnostic personnel. Adheres to internal controls established for department and compiles and reports statistics of all testing performed on a monthly basis. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, R EEG T by ABRET, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
