Feeder\/Finishing Packer - US

About the Role

You'd be working at a large packaging manufacturing plant that makes corrugated boxes and materials. This is a hands on production floor in the finishing department, prepping and packing rolls and materials.

What You'll Do

• Prep rolls for production
• Split cores
• Identify board grades
• Band finished material
• Operate the roll pusher
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the department manager

What We Need From You

• Able to lift 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable following safe working techniques and PPE requirements
• Steel toed shoes required starting day one
• Able to work a 12 hour overnight shift on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule

Preferred / Bonus

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Experience with production floor housekeeping and material handling

Pay

$19.00 an hour

Schedule

12 hour shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule. Overtime opportunities available.
