Responsibilities
- Load Cartons: Load cartons into the feeder of the folder/gluer production machine.
- Training: Provide training for new production associates on the folder/gluer process.
- Problem Reporting: Inform production Operators of any issues occurring on the line.
- Supply Management: Notify manufacturing Operators when running low on supplies.
- Jam Clearing: Assist with clearing jam-ups on production machine-fed lines.
- Job Ticket Consultation: Review job tickets for proper instructions before starting a new job or shift.
- Packing Instructions: Follow packing instructions as documented on the job ticket.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Backup Support: Provide backup support to other associates on production machine-fed lines to maintain production flow.
- Communication: Communicate instructions to other manufacturing employees and shifts.
- Case Count Monitoring: Monitor case counts to ensure correct production quantities are packed.
- Continuous Operation: Participate in tasks necessary for continuous operation of the process.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all manufacturing plant safety rules and maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of products being produced to ensure they meet standards.
- Compliance: Comply with the Consolidated Standards for Inspection – Food Contact Manufacturing Facilities following SQF Guidelines.
