About the role
JBS Live Pork Hedrick IA is seeking a full-time Feed Mill Production Technician to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Run multiple pieces of equipment, including grinders, batching scales, mixers, feed cleaners, pellet mills, and coolers.
- Samples and receives ingredients by truck and monitors ingredients inventory levels.
- Manufactures feeds to ensure they meet specifications and food safety requirements.
- Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands.
- Keep accurate, legible records.
- Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean workplace.
Requirements
- Local to Hedrick IA area.
- Regular and reliable transportation.
- Basic math & computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to clean and organize work areas.
- Interpersonal skills for working with other employees.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- The candidate is required to be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in feed milling or industrial manufacturing work is preferred.
- Above average skills in teamwork, decision making, taking responsibility, and integrity are desired.

- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow safety protocols.

$21.35 plus depending on feed mill experience.
