Feed Batching Opr (3rd Shift)-Craig Feed Mill
About the role
Pay $17.95. Operate the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finished product for delivery to farms. This position is responsible for inventory of all the farms that need feed delivery, as well as running the computer to make the feed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finished product for delivery to farms
- Operate computer to make feed
- Work with dispatcher to ensure feed being made is needed for hauling
- Complete accurate inventories each shift
- Operate pellet mills, batching, and receiving systems, and be able to multitask
Requirements
- 3 months of operator experience listed in the application (can be a combination of employers as long as the experience is at least 3 months)
- Must be able to use a computer
- Must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture
- Must be able to climb ladders and must not be afraid of heights up to but not limited to 170' climbs
- Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, and reach
- Must work well alone with limited help
- Must be able to lift bags up to 80 lb
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
