Feed Batching Operator FM02 (3rd Shift) Sedalia Feed Mill

Operational Responsibilities

• Operation of Tyson Mill Control System (TMCS) in production of poultry feed.
• Lockout/Tagout qualification to open pellet mills.
• Consistently dump 50 lb bags of ingredients into the ingredient system bins.
• Operate a manual pallet jack for movement of ingredients during restock of work area.
• Perform and document daily inventory of ingredients.
• Perform cleaning of work area as needed.
• Perform temporary fill-in duty as dispatcher, including loading feed trucks and taking phone-in feed orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Additional Duties

• Use of box cutter to open bags of micro ingredients.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Work in hot, humid, and cold environments based upon weather conditions.
• Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including ear plugs, gloves, and N95 face masks.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

Rehire Criteria: Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days. Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
