Utility Feed Batching Operator FM02 - 2nd shift - Albertville Feed Mill

Responsibilities

• Load Feed Trucks
• Unload Feed Delivery Trucks
• Unload Hopper bottom trucks
• Unload Rail cars
• Perform Feed Order/Deliver System Functions
• Report needed repairs to equipment
• Aid in repair of equipment
• Operate receiving equipment
• Fill in for Team Members who are absent or on vacation
• Run errands
• Keep work areas clean

Requirements

• Basic computer skills—experience using SAP, Workday, MTech, and other Tyson Feed Systems preferred
• Basic mechanical skills
• Willingness to read and write
• Willingness to operate receiving equipment
• Willingness to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Willingness to use a broom, shovel, dustpan, and air wand
• Willingness to use an 8 lb. to 12 lb. sledgehammer
• Willingness to climb ladders and stairs
• Willingness to work in elevated areas
• Willingness to ride in an elevator
• Valid Alabama Driver License with a good driving record
• Willingness to participate in team efforts
• Willingness to cross-train on all positions
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Willingness to follow Mill Safety Rules
• Willingness to work in extreme heat and cold
• Willingness to work in a dusty environment

Qualifications

• Total of six (6) months of machine operator experience
• Minimum of six (6) months of continuous work experience with one employer within the past twenty-four (24) months
