Utility Feed Batching Operator FM02, 2nd Shift, Albertville Feed Mill, AL

Summary

This position is responsible for loading Feed Trucks, unloading Feed Delivery Trucks, Hopper bottom trucks at this facility following Packers and Stockyards Procedures. Tasks include performing Feed Order/Deliver System Functions, reporting needed repairs to equipment, assisting in repair of equipment, operating receiving equipment, filling in for absent or on vacation Team Members, running errands, keeping work areas clean.

Requirements

• Must have basic computer skills—experience using SAP, Workday, MTech, and other Tyson Feed Systems preferred.
• Must have basic mechanical skills.
• Must be willing to read and write.
• Must be willing and able to operate receiving equipment.
• Must be willing and able to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to use a broom, shovel, dustpan, and air wand.
• Must be willing and able to use an 8 lb. to 12 lb. sledgehammer.
• Must be willing and able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be willing to work in elevated areas.
• Must be willing to ride in a man-lift.
• Must have a valid Alabama Driver License with a good driving record.
• Must be willing to participate in team efforts.
• Must be willing to cross-train on all positions.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours.
• Must be willing to follow Mill Safety Rules.
• Must be willing to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Must be willing to work in a dusty environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a total of six (6) months of machine operator experience.
• Must have a total of six (6) months of continuous work experience with one (1) employer within the last twenty-four (24) months, regardless of whether the position held was an Operator position or not.
