Responsibilities
- Assisting library patrons at the circulation desk
- Shering library materials
- Maintaining the integrity of the library's collections
- Processing incoming/outgoing mail
- Providing basic reference services
- Assisting staff in other service areas of the library
Requirements
- Strong commitment to teamwork
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

Benefits
The rate of pay is $12.00/hour. Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a job and perform related duties either on campus, or remotely, if possible and at the discretion of the employer.
Pay
The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00.
Schedule
Work shifts will be scheduled around class schedules. Class schedule permitting, a successful candidate must be willing to work some weekday shifts beginning at 9:00am, some evening shifts until 10:00pm and alternate with other student library assistants to work a few Sunday shifts each semester.
