Federal Staff Auditor

About the role

CohnReznick is seeking a Federal Staff Auditor to join our team in Bethesda, MD. This position is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Participate on a variety of federal financial statement audits
• Learn complex federal accounting standards and apply them to unique client situations
• Work with senior auditor and staff auditor to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members on technical and professional matters
• Participate in business development initiatives, including opportunity identification, proposal preparation, and professional networking

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance or higher

Pay

The salary range for a Federal Staff Auditor in Maryland is $71,000 to $95,000. Actual compensation is determined based on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
