Federal IT Audit – Manager
About the role
CohnReznick is seeking a Federal IT Audit – Manager to join our team in Bethesda, MD. This position is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT audit teams supporting federal financial statement audits, performance audits, examination, agreed-upon procedures, and standalone IT audit engagements
- Evaluate technology risks, IT controls, and cybersecurity controls supporting federal systems
- Support federal systems with a thorough understanding of federal IT audit requirements and methodologies, as well as applicable standards and control frameworks, including FISCAM, FISMA, NIST standards, and publications, GAO Government Auditing Standards, and COBIT
- Apply strong project management skills by tracking success metrics, promoting efficient and productive team performance, and reinforcing engagement-specific best practices
- Report status, issues, and delays to leadership and clients timely
- Provide consistent coaching, mentoring, and training to team members (on technical and professional matters)
- Cultivate strong professional relationships and function as the main liaison and trusted advisor for clients, auditees, and team members alike
- Lead sales and business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, supporting marketing strategy execution, cross-selling services across business lines, and using professional networks to shape go-to-market strategies
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology or related field
- CISA or CISSP certification
- Secret clearance or higher required
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience performing and leading federal IT audit engagements in accordance with applicable federal requirements
- Experience overseeing contract support operations, including supporting multiple projects and teams of personnel across various locations
- Hands-on experience performing IT audits, IT risk assessments, or cybersecurity assessments
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management concepts, and common cybersecurity frameworks

Benefits
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, to name a few.
Pay
In Maryland, the salary range for a Advisory Manager is $115,000 to $155,000.
