Federal Senior Engineer/Architect - Oracle Health Government Services/VA

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing and proposed systems and system enhancements to determine requirements and ensure client integration solutions meet organizational and product needs.
• Assist with engineering activities as part of the Federal EHR deployments across the United States for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Design and develop solutions to integrate applications between Oracle Health and federal client systems.
• Create and document visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs, partner with Oracle Health and client delivery teams to implement integration solutions within defined project scope.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, development teams, client end users and other stakeholders as appropriate.
• Thrive on working with large scale, distributed systems and is always looking for ways to automate manual tasks.
• Ensure work products meet (and frequently exceed) quality requirements.
• Monitor and controls work, anticipating and avoiding issues to the maximum extent possible.
• Aid in staffing needs including interviews.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience assisting/leading engineering projects with multiple teams.
• Third party vendor management and engineering project management experience.
• Federal EHR (VA and/or DoD) engineering and deployment experience.
• Federal Cyber understanding/experience.
• Engineering experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Applications/Platforms.
• Engineering experience with Cloud technologies (Oracle Cloud or similar).

Skills or Competencies

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Hands on experience assisting/leading engineering projects with multiple teams.
