Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensures the overall design intent of the project is incorporated into the detailed documentation.
  • Involves in the design process from conceptual phase through construction administration, ensuring the design idea is consistent and properly executed.
  • Responsible for technical execution and coordination for multi-disciplined projects.
  • Works with the project specification writer to develop specifications and is responsible for coordination of drawings and specifications.
  • Checks completed reports, plans, estimates and calculations for accuracy.
  • Works to implement the overall strategy for producing the documents and participates in organizing the sheets planned for each stage of the work.
  • Includes defining how data will be organized into files and which elements will be incorporated in a Building Information Model (BIM).
  • Works with BIM Manager to define and set up project team software parameters and works with team BIM Lead to manage project standards.
  • Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the entire Project Team.
  • On-site office attendance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.
  • At least 5 years’ architecture experience.
  • Licensed Architect with current registration.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design, and various sustainability certifications.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC process.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, Enscape and InDesign graphic software preferred.

Qualifications

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $97,700.00 to $171,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
