Job Description And Duties

Under the general direction of the Deputy Director and supervising Branch Chief in the Division of Federal Financial Assistance (DFFA), the Federal Policy Compliance Section Chief oversees professional staff responsible for the following division-wide functions:

  • Special Projects – works directly with Deputy Director, Division leadership, and coordinates across the Department and with external stakeholders to support urgent, emerging, sensitive and critical policy needs that ensure the timely and compliant administration of federal resources for the Department.
  • Federal Policy Compliance – oversees staff that operate as subject matter experts in state and federal policy and compliance requirements, including for procurement, environmental review, labor standards and construction contracting compliance for multifamily, single-family, and community development projects funded by the Division.
