Federal Construction Project Engineer - Sacramento Location

Job Description

We are seeking engineering or construction management professionals with 1+ year of experience in project management. It is an added plus if you have developed design concepts, actual designs, and proposals. Follow projects from design to completion.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related position.
• Prior experience in directing and coordinating the construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements, as well as inspecting.
• Knowledge of preparing specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment.
• Supervising and training project team members as necessary.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• The ability to read blueprints.

Position Terms / Expected Hours Of Work

MarCon Eng salaried employees are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. During a busy season in some cases this position will require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position is FLSA-exempt.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required in this role to job sites, off-site meetings, and or internal local events.
