We are seeking an experienced Federal Account Manager to join our team.

About the role

The Federal Account Manager will play a crucial role in setting sales strategies, identifying leads, developing and qualifying opportunities, and closing business in our Network Edge portfolio. This position requires a senior professional with a proven track record in the US Department of Defense and US Air Force, particularly in security software and hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop leads for the Network Edge portfolio
  • Propose Forcepoint solutions to address customer business priorities and challenges
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering and Product Management to develop quotes and proposals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, distributors, resellers, and VARs
  • Lead sales presentations at resellers and end-user locations
  • Coordinate sales enablement with field sales reps and managers
  • Formulate and implement New Business strategies to overachieve sales quota
  • Analyze customer needs and determine how to position Forcepoint's Network Edge products and professional services
  • Stay informed about competitive offerings and strategies
  • Deliver compelling business value product demonstrations of Edge solutions to various customer audiences
  • Organize and lead region meetups and user groups
  • Create and execute sales plays
  • Manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Travel up to 50%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 7+ years' experience in network security sales
  • Experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances, including Firewalls, CASB, and Web Security Proxies
  • Knowledge of routing and switching
  • Confidence in public speaking and C-level presentation skills
  • Strong professional network with partners and system integrators
  • Creative sales thinking and strong commitment to the customer mission
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and determine how to position Forcepoint's products
  • Current/Active TS Clearance preferred but not required

Benefits

Forcepoint offers a competitive salary range of $260,000.00 - $300,000.00, with actual salaries determined by various factors including location, experience, and performance.
