FE Coordinator

About the role

As a Coordinator team member, you are responsible for the efficient expedition of customer sales transactions at the front registers. You must maintain proper control of cash, ensure customer satisfaction, and safeguard company assets. This position requires assisting customers as needed and maintaining a friendly, energetic demeanor while adhering to all procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes
• Greets customers entering store and responds promptly to customer needs
• Assists in overseeing the accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits
• Operates cash register by scanning price-coded items, entering PLU or UPC manually, compiling printed lists, and displaying cost of customer purchases, tax, and rebates
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas, ensuring no personal items are present
• Assures completion of all Point of Sale (POS) transactions and proper control of all cash at the registers
• Models exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service
• Reviews Customer Survey and customer feedback from previous day or week
• Prepares, packages, stocks store, and displays merchandise appropriately
• Ensures price change compliance and food safety compliance
• Orders manual items and stocks, rotates, and merchandises products according to department procedure
• Ensures all inferior or out-of-code products are removed from display
• Ensures all products are accurately priced and sales prices are maintained and up to date
• Provides consultation to customers regarding consumer products
• Executes ad set compliance including signage
• Meets or exceeds sales floor condition expectations in respective department
• Promotes a safe work environment
• Reliable and consistent attendance required
• Proper usage of production planner and fresh dashboard
• Performs other daily tasks as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent required
• 2-3 years of related retail experience
• One year of management experience
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16.05 - $25.15 per hour. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location and is determined by factors such as market data, qualifications, level of responsibilities, and internal equity.
