Fastener Assembly - 1st Shift

About the Role

Fastener assembly operators work and safely operate/attend basic 2-5 component assembly machines to assemble a single fastener component. They demonstrate competencies in basic shop math, basic print reading, and mechanical aptitude, along with a basic understanding of assembly components, including form and function, and lube function for performance.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Basic loading/unloading of product (delivering product).
• Perform in-process inspection.
• Visual management of machine.
• Complete production paperwork and operation audits.

Skills

• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic print reading.
• Basic shop math.
• Basic inspection processes (tools & measurements).
• Basic understanding of machine function.
• Strong communication skills.
