Assembly 1st shift

Responsibilities

• Bond and assemble aerospace components according to blueprints and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Read process charts, work orders, and specifications to determine sequence of bonding operations, the amount of bonding agent to be applied, and areas to be bonded.
• Maintain and account for inventory of hardware and supplies.
• Ensure all equipment used for assembly is in proper working order.
• Complete Daily Check List and retain all applicable inspection data sheets.
• Verify that parts are complete and ready for over inspection (e.g., thickness, touch-up, cleanliness, routers complete).
• Perform daily check of liquid nitrogen.
• Account for and secure assembly tools daily.
• Mix sealants and adhesives.
• Use computers to document all applicable information.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Preferred: 2 years of related work experience.
