1st Shift Assembly

About the role

Assembly position on the day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and rework products, components, and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Interpret and utilize assembly drawings, schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and other technical documentation.
• Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and specialized equipment.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to verify product quality and compliance with customer and engineering requirements.
• Identify, document, and communicate product defects, discrepancies, and process issues to supervisors, quality personnel, or engineering teams in a timely manner.
• Accurately complete production records, quality documentation, and other required reports.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, manufacturing procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area in accordance with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Consistently meet established productivity, quality, and delivery expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment preferred.
