FAST Service Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a professional and customer service-focused FAST Service Specialist to join the Opensity team, working at our client's office. In this pivotal, client-facing role, you will provide various administrative support—including copy, print, mail, hospitality, facilities, and receptionist services—across multiple Opensity client sites within a defined geographic market.

Responsibilities

• Mail Services: Meter, sort, and distribute mail and accountable packages per schedule.
• Copy Services: Accurately produce copy, print, and scan projects per written instructions.
• Reception: Answer incoming telephone calls, route to the appropriate person, greet and announce visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Hospitality Services: Coordinate and upkeep client conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens. Inspect and ensure all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and ready for continual use. Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies. Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed.
• Floor Coordination: Upkeep of copy rooms, stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance.
• Facilities Services: May include hanging pictures, small office moves, cleaning services, and communication with key client contacts regarding building/equipment concerns.
• Flexibility in weekly work schedule to cover for absences and vacations, including potential schedule changes and work locations.
• Travel to Stamford, CT, and Newark & Secaucus, NJ, for coverage on a limited basis (with reimbursements).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of work experience in a customer service field.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact.
• Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
• Ability to grasp, lift, or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
• As a condition of employment, candidates must agree to complete and pass any applicable client-specific background checks.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is up to $21.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will depend on the individual's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
