Farm Technician

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepares, plants, cultivates, weeds and harvests production areas including high tunnels, greenhouses, orchards and intensive garden plots
• Maintains grounds including mowing grass, weed control and snow removal
• Provides general care of livestock including watering, feeding and moving
• Installs and maintains fencing
• Assists with the daily operations in the aquaponics facility
• Examines animals to detect illness, injury or disease and checks physical characteristics such as rate of weight gain or loss
• Provides customer service in storefront as needed

What You'll Need To Be Successful

• High School Diploma
• Previous farm experience preferred
• Knowledge and ability to operate and maintain farm equipment
• Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens
