FANUC Robot Programmer

About the role

We are seeking experienced FANUC Robot Programmers to support a high-priority automotive automation project in Toledo, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience programming FANUC robots from scratch, robot integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Program and modify FANUC robots from scratch.
• Perform robot integration, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Develop, optimize, debug, and modify existing robot programs.
• Work according to General Motors (GM) GRS robot programming standards.
• Support production launches and manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with controls, electrical, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot robot, commissioning, and startup issues.
• Support vision-guided robotic applications as required.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with FANUC robot programming.
• Proven experience creating and modifying robot programs from scratch.
• Experience working with GM GRS standards.
• Previous experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and commissioning skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Skills

• 2D iRVision experience.
• 3D IRVision experience.
• FANUC Collaborative Robot (Cobot) experience.
• Experience supporting automotive production launches and commissioning activities.
