About the role
This role is responsible for the set up and programming of robotic welders as well as operating.
Responsibilities
- Selects correct program and maintains controls over program files
- Sets up and operates robotic welders
- Records operational issues in logbook and follows troubleshooting procedures
- Adjusts machinery as needed to maintain part quality
- Designs programs for new or existing parts
- Communicates with Engineering Department regarding new product designs prior to manufacturing
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fixtures and operating robotic welding machines (Miller Lincoln, or OTC models)
