About the role

As a Family Support/Visitation Specialist at Better Living, you will play a crucial role in the reunification process by fostering an environment that supports the healthy development of children.

Responsibilities

- Enhance and enrich the environment for children and their families. - Track the progress of families you work with. - Set and achieve goals to help families establish a safe, supportive, and loving home.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent (required). - Two years of experience in a human service-related position. - Associate's degree and one year of experience, or bachelor's degree in a human services field (preferred).

Qualifications

- Human services experience examples include social work, counseling/guidance, psychology, sociology, human development, child, youth and family studies, mental health education, or a closely related human service field.

Skills

- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various settings. - Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families. - Ability to travel 50% of the time using a personal vehicle with paid mileage.

Benefits

- Excellent benefits and total compensation package. - Actual hourly rate of $26.62 without a bachelor's degree and $27.75 with a bachelor's degree.

Pay

- Without bachelor's degree - $20/hour. - With bachelor's degree - $21/hour.

Schedule

- Flexible schedule. - Evening and weekend hours required. - Schedules will vary depending on client availability, requiring an extended work week.
