Responsibilities

  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with 15-20 families through regular in-home visits (1+ hour each)
  • Conduct needs assessments, screenings (ASQ, ASQ-SE, depression screens, FROG Scale), and eligibility evaluations
  • Develop individualized Family Service Plans and support families in setting and achieving goals
  • Connect families to community resources, healthcare, housing, childcare, and crisis services
  • Deliver research-based education on child development, health, nutrition, and family functioning
  • Maintain accurate case notes, contact logs, and database records per agency and funding requirements
  • Represent the program at community outreach events and agency collaboration meetings
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and individual reflective supervision
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Experience working with or providing services to children and families
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships
  • Acceptance of and respect for individual differences
  • Experience and humility to work with culturally diverse families
  • Knowledge of infant and child development
  • Infant mental health endorsement (preferred)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (required)

$24/Hour

Schedule

Regular in-home visits (1+ hour each)
