Family Support Advocate

Your Role

Deliver Family Support, Case Management, and Differential Response services for at-risk families, caregivers, unaccompanied youth, homeless families, military families, and individuals with disabilities.

Provide strengths-based assessments, crisis intervention, and linkages to life-changing community resources.

Coordinate with County social workers and community providers to prevent child abuse and out-of-home placements.

Meet families where they are - in their homes, schools, community spaces, or at the Family Resource Center.

Lead and support Life Skills workshops, FRC events, and community-building initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field + 1 year supporting children and families in crisis
• Option 2: 3 years of direct experience working with families facing crisis (domestic violence, homelessness, child abuse, etc.)
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and communities
• Knowledge of local social services and community resources
• Strong documentation and tech skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends
