Family Specialist

This position involves developing and overseeing family programming in New York, NY, focusing on providing strength-based, family-focused care. It requires full-time commitment with some evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee family programming
• Provide strength-based, family-focused care
• Oversee and implement family therapy sessions
• Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Family Therapy Counseling
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a community-based setting with adults experiencing co-occurring disorders
• Extensive knowledge of harm reduction and commitment to diverse recovery stages
• Proficiency in generic office software
• Experience working with diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications
