About This Role

No on-call hours.
All routine travel is within Knox County.
37.5 hour work week
What You'll Do
- Counsels and conducts planning activities and completes required documentation related to family/health services, center duties, and overall program needs.
- Conducts and provides activities and services necessary for effective delivery of family and health services.
- Conducts eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance activities in compliance with Head Start regulations and local operational plans and procedures to assist in reaching and maintaining full enrollment.
- Communicates, coordinates, and integrates effectively with staff, parents, and community representatives, and fulfills center duties to meet overall program goals for children and family service delivery.
Requirements
- B.S. in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Child & Family Studies, or related field.
- Criminal background check (fingerprint, vulnerable person's registry, etc.).
- Experience working with impoverished children and families.
- Experience and comfort with making home visits.
- Case Management experience.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License & ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Vehicle for work related travel.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Likely to have legal eligibility to work in the US.
