Family Services Counselor (FSC) (Snohomish/King county)

We are looking for a Part-Time Family Preservation Services (FSC) Therapist for the Snohomish and/or King County areas. The FSC focuses on empowering families to solve problems, become self-sufficient, and strengthen their relations with community resources.

About the Role

FSCs provide clinical service delivery, including thorough family assessment, identification of strengths and risk factors within the family, family service plan development, implementation, and outcomes identified in each plan in collaboration with social workers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, social or behavioral science, or a closely related field OR
• Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences or a closely related field and two years’ paid experience delivering services to families and children
• Clear criminal history and pass a background check
• Current driver’s license, car, and car insurance

Licensing and Certifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification (paid by employer) – must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• TB Test within 7 days of first day of employment (paid by employer)
• Currently licensed, certified, or agency-affiliated as a counselor in the State of Washington under Department of Health healthcare professional credentialing guidelines, or ability to obtain

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social or behavioral science or closely related field from an accredited college or university plus minimum one-year experience working with children and families

Pay

$22.00–$33.00 per hour (DOE). Top wage available to candidates with Master’s degrees who are licensed.
