Family Practitioner/General Practitioner
As Canada’s largest outpatient medical clinic owner-operator, we prioritize patients and their families, empowering them with care that improves health outcomes. Our South Surrey clinic is situated in a bustling shopping complex featuring London Drugs, Thrifty Foods, restaurants, groceries, banks, and other professional and leisure businesses. The location is ideal for families, with new residential developments and established neighborhoods nearby, and is less than 15 km from the USA border. The clinic offers a collegiate atmosphere with a physician-focused MOA support team and provides virtual and telehealth options accessible from home.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will provide full-scope family practice, either full-time or part-time, with the flexibility to include a small walk-in component. You will have the autonomy to set your own schedule and work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. The team will assist with a smooth transition into the practice.
Practice Details
- Access to 2 exam rooms during shifts (clinic has 14 exam rooms and 1 surgical room)
- Shared office space
- Juno (OSCAR) EMR system in use; no paper charts
- Clinic hours: Monday to Sunday (flexible scheduling for the new physician)
- No strict policy around time off; 60 days’ notice required for scheduling
- Hospital and ER department shifts are not expected
- On-call arrangements to be discussed
Financials
- Billing split: 70/30 (negotiable)
- Bi-monthly payment for Fee-for-Service (FFS) or Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) models; monthly for Primary Care Network (PCN)
- Estimated remuneration: $300,000 - $600,000
- Signing bonus up to $10,000
- Relocation bonus up to $8,000
- Equity incentives available for discussion

Staff
The clinic is staffed by 13 part-time and full-time physicians, a registered nurse (RN), an office manager, and MOAs to assist with your transition.
Qualifications
- Hold or be eligible for Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
- Hold or be eligible for a full license to practice medicine in BC
- Good standing with BC’s College of Physicians and Surgeons
- Provisional license-eligible applicants (including IMGs) are welcome to apply
- Hospital privileges are an asset
